Taylor

























Not much has changed with the portrait since the last post (This picture was taken during the day in natural light so the colors differ from the previous post).  I did a little bit of work on the shadow side of the face and the ear, but still have a ways to go. I also laid in another layer on the background.

Things at work have been really hectic recently which has kept me from painting. Today was the first time I've been in the studio in three weeks. Working so infrequently has been challenging, but I think things at work will be slowing down soon and I hope to get into the studio a little more.

Hey David,
The modeling and colouring is superb and it has real depth. Lovely classical approach too.
I think this is going to be great when it's finished so you need some time off work with a very bad cold ;-)
