Here is the portrait of my son that I referenced in my last post. I'm in the final stages at this point, but I still need to address some of the values that are in his face. This has been a fun piece to work on. I haven't done a charcoal drawing in a while so it's been a nice deviation from what I have been working on recently.

wonerful work! i tend to move from oils to charcoals regularly: usually when i have problems with oils, charcoals calm me down:)
